If I were to tell you...
If I were to tell you now the deeds that I have done,
Every mountain to this day I’ve climbed
Or every battle I have won,
The long and lengthy list, you see, would come to no avail.
Because by the time that I am done with it,
I will be ever so old and pale.
If you want to know a story then live your life. It’s true.
What good will go by knowing mine
When you still will yet know you?
Please, excuse my poor attempt at poetry.
