I’m losing my touch. More likely i never had it in the first place. I was thinking more along the lines of a city devastated by plague or some horror or other, that the survivors found a niche in the abandoned homes of the rich, safe in the “sweet subterfuge” of a ostracized territory. Of course there wasn’t enough info to indicate thus.

Barrio la Paz could be loosely translated to peace town
