Inspired by the horror comic, ‘Slug Girl’. Poem ported from tumblr, edited again here.
I don’t know why, but I find that comic’s premise an interesting prompt, so I kept coming back to writing about it. This is the third version I’ve written now. Some feedback would be nice, thanks guys :)
The imagery is good, I agree. It sticks with you better since it is a little…strange. I can’t seem to find the comic you’re referring to, I’m intrigued though.
