Sis is Late

Zach looked at his cell for the fifth time in ten minutes. “I don’t like this, Dad,” he said. “Ally never misses a checkpoint.”

“I’ll see if she’s moved,” said Dad as he brought up the GPS map for her phone. It showed that she was now inside the warehouse and it suddenly winked out. “Zach, pack it up. We got to go, NOW!”

“But what about the…?” Zach started to say.

“The werewolf can wait. It’s the end of the full moon cycle anyway. We’d have to wait 28 days to pick up the trail again. If the Alpha vampire has your sister, he’ll kill her, or even worse…” said Dad, swallowing hard.

“Turn her?” said Zach, finishing his thought. He pulled a pair of machetes out of the cache in the car door and hand one to his dad. “Like hell!”

“We’ve got a two hour drive ahead of us, son. Pray she’s alright and focus on the fight. The Alpha’s nest is going to be hell to get into. I just hope we make it in time,” said Dad, starting the car. He dialed a familiar number on his cell. “Molly, it’s Glen. It’s about Ally…”
