You and Your Heart
The city lights at night
Don’t shine as bright
As the cerulean depths of your eyes
Your freckled complexion
Defines perfection,
that of the whitest snow
The immaculate bones of your collar,
Because you are taller,
Are directly within my gaze
But it’s your face that concerns me
And your smile that fills me with glee
Because there’s nothing that I’d rather see.
