I recently read an autobiography about a favorite writer of mine. During his early writing career he attempted suicide several times. Eventually he did need to kill himself, but he did not have to do so physically. He had to kill the part of him that he hated in order to become the best he could be. I think that this is true for a lot of people to grow into who they need to be. This story was truly touching because it came from the heart, and I think the people who will read this will appreciate that.
I always appreciate it when a story rings with real emotion. I also enjoyed the idea of dying as changing instead of a very final sort of ending. There is still an ending but, in this case, life does not end with death.
