Hivelings Pt. 40

Cassidy whimpered again as her mother turned to her.

Jessy reached down and stroked her on the head. “It’s only for a month,” she reassured her. “No more.”

Cassidy’s lip quivered, then she screwed her eyes shut and clenched her fists. “Just make it quick…” she murmured, trying not to cry.

Jessy picked her up, opened her mouth, and pushed her in, being careful to not hurt her. She finished pushing her in, closed her mouth, and swallowed.

Cassidy slid down her mother’s throat, eased along by the esophagus’ muscles. She eventually was deposited in her stomach, landing with a soft, wet thud.

Jessy caressed her belly, then glared at Ryan. “This had better work,” she said, her wings buzzing in agitation.
