Master of Equus: Chapter 1- The Realm cont.

Many of the Feralings came to live and work in the neighboring towns and villages where they could after the war. Many found a home in the castle serving the King and his family. There were still a few factions that still held generations of resentment toward the realm. They were not a threat and remained in the wild lands and forests, never giving the King any trouble. Most were holding family grudges, not really understanding why. It was just a way of life for them and the King understood this. As long as they did not cause any trouble and kept to themselves, all was well. Word had reached them at how well the King treated Feralings, so that in and of itself, kept the peace that all had enjoyed for almost three hundred years.
