Hello My Name Is Eddie-Joe Young
Well truth be told i am not the religous type. However, there are alot of things a fifth grader would do for love. So i gathered all of the hard earned benjamins, that represented every single hustle i had dreamed up all year, to go to a religous retreat.
Now i know what you are thinking, “What kind of hustle could a fifth grader come up?”
Well let me give you an example.
Ingredients:
Four kids from Lawler Street
Four Beta Book Club shirts from the good will.
Four coffee cans (without the coffee)
And a pitch that goes, “Hello we are raising money for the Beta Book Club, the winner gets to meet Ronald Reagan.”
Well one hundred and twelve bucks later, i was on the bus next to JoAnna FulliLove, poised to spit my best game to an angel, when a girl interrupted.
“Did you hear that little Hooligfan from Lawler, came on this trip.”
“Eddie-Joe?”
“Yeah i heard June saw his little pencil and said he must have been cold.”
I silenced the chorus of laughter with, “Hello, My name is Eddie-Joe Young, and it was cold.”
