Pluto is a special case, even among the “dwarf planets”, as it is the only “planet” tidally locked to its moon. So, really, we should talk about the Pluto-Charon system. We should probably give it a special class all its own.
What happens when you remove an entire planet from a gravitational system? Well, in the case of Earth, not a whole hell of a lot except probably some solar flares and some chunks of Earth eventually hitting other planets and moons, or settling into the sun or the asteroid belt. Since the matter of the planet wasn’t entirely destroyed, most likely a lot of it would regather into the orbital path of the destroyed planet.
I’m most curious about our Moon. Depending on where it was in its orbit, it could end up going either towards Venus and Mercury or out towards Mars. So the intriguing possibility I see is that he hops 3 hours to a base on the moon and rides the moon out to Mars.
get a pick science and are you familiar with the idea that fiction requires you to SUSPENDYOURDISBELIEF Uhmpa luhmpa aren’t really eaten by vernicous kanids the trifalmadorians didn’t really create the pyramids about a message to say they are almost done with a part for a ship and Ichigo kurasaki is not really saving the world with a bible thumping archer and a big mexican with a pituitary problem. its fiction not science man…now get a pick
i go too far sometimes but really noobs ficlets meant so much too us that not even having enough pride in “our” own site that people don’t make money off, they dedicated their time to build, and you cant even load a pic. come on science you have eleven stories and 51 comments you have to love this place. Just load a pic, kevin lawver and jason made this for us have enough respect to load a pic.
i tell you what i will load you a pic an then you can change your password, i am not doing anything anyways, ever since i quit my job and took up residence next to perkins in a box behind starbuck.s
hahahaha I don’t know how you equate pictures with love, I don’t love pictures cuz I’m not photogenic.
I also take offense to your apparent belief that fiction and science should be necessarily separated. Fact is often so much stranger than fiction. But don’t worry about offending me, I’m over it already.
Lol, your writing reminds me of Hitchhiker’s Guide ( I reference taht way too much…) You just go on a random tangent then tie it in with the story at the last minute.
