I liked it.

I’m a nut for consistency: you capitalized your "I"s in the beginning of the poem, then stopped doing that toward the end.

However, a lovely little poem.

I know how it feels to be friendless, but I never wanted to bleed for it. This is a great tribute to a great friend, even if imaginary (?)… the empty corner…

Beware. I think when MJY says that you are the kind of person LOA looks for, I think he means it like when hunters look for deer. You stray in their path, nibble a little of a salt lick and then BLAMMO! Next thing you know you are looking down into the man cave/junting lodge from over the mantle wondering what the bear ever did to get that flat.

But then, I could be wrong.
