I think andrewg is right for sure. They are only short pieces so we sometimes think we have to make sure something out-of-the-ordinary happens, but sometimes reality is stranger than fiction.

Oh, God… At first my mind shifted the words and the Fair Maiden accidentally ran herself into the Knight’s shiny blade, ending her life tragically.

But then I realised that she had, in fact, run into his arms, which made me smile.

Ah, I was hoping she wasn’t going to wake up. Fun take on Rapunzel all the same. That is definitely a fun theme to buck, the helpless damsel in distress awaiting her prince.
