What in the world is this? Is it WOW? You have just lost it. Look wow is not a toyit is highly addictive, you may think you can stop anytime, but look at the lives that have been ruined. Has Mess won a challenge since he got hooked on that devil substance, see how elsha can barely find time to write, I hear she even put off having another kid so she could WOW more. It is evil and the Lord Zod almighty will smite those wow death merchants for their evil ways.
Well actually I just made all that up, literaly none of those things have ever happened, except Zod is real.
This is a good story, with a unique format I knew I couls expect good stuff from you.

I’ve never played WOW (though I’ve heard enough about it to recognize the references). Nice blend with sci-fi elements. I was actually reading the bold, bracketed parts like hyperlinks, imagining some sort of world where objects can be identified by some sort of HUD/augmented reality system and interconnected like hypertext to bring up more info and related items. Maybe with RFID? Sorry, I think way too much into these things!

@AbstractRorschach MMORPG crime is already a reality… kind funny, a guy who was head of one of the largest player-run banks in EVE Online embezzled millions of game credits from the bank and sold them (violating the EULA) for real world cash to pay off real-world debts. He is banned for life from the game, but there are no real-world legal consequences that I’ve heard of yet.

Yeah, I think I would have gotten this more if I played more mmorpg’s.

I played for maybe 3 days, then said “screw this” and went off to do something else.
