Grats, Muffy. I totally know that cloud nine feeling, and frankly, I miss it. You totally got it across here – the tone is unsophisticated, like a kid that can’t wait to tell his best friend what he got for christmas – it’s gleefully obvious that you just let loose with your feelings instead of carefully constructing this fic, which probably would have tainted its spirit.

I tried not to do any edits.
I haven’t, and wont, actually read it.
I just typed everything in my head. and stopped where I see fit.

Kind of reminds me of Oliver Wendel Holmes, a supreme court justice. Once, when he was 95 or so, and still active on the bench by the way, he was walking with a friend when a pretty young thing walked by the two of them. Oliver turned to his companion and whistfully said, “Oh to be sixty again”.

I am glad you got that moment. Treasure it.
