Walter, The Everlasting
There once was a man named Walter, a man who loved living life. Walter loved living life so much that he wished he’d never perish and live forth eternally. Luckily for Walter, one day, when a gypsy caravan made its camp nearby, he got his chance. Wandering the caravan camp, Walter soon spied a gypsy man in the distance wearing a headband in red. Walter approached—
“—Yes, yes, you want?” interrupted the red-banded gypsy.
“Um, yes…” stammered Walter, “I was wonderin’ if you had anything that could make a young, ’appy chap like me live on without end. Eternally, if you will.”
The gypsy’s dark eyes brightened. “Ahhh, you seek spring healing…I know well of the springs and its magic.”
“Then you can help me?” ejaculated Walter.
“Help? Yes, I help — for a price. 5,000 Dinar!”
“Five THOUSAND?!” roared Walter, “Why, I nay spent so much on my sand cleaner, you lousy…” Walter suddenly stopped. “Why bother? I hope to live eternal regardless. Here, have my coin, you filthy beggar. Now: tell me all you know.”
