Ohhhhhhhh crazy ice…. Don’t I feel clever. Totally missed that.

British humor? I’m missing the subtlety of “crazy ice”… and I didn’t know that people still used “Tis” after the invention of the airplane.

Crazy ice… crazy eyes. But aren’t you forbidden to write about Irishmen?? I guess this counts as disparaging…

An explaination of crazy ice.

Crazy has developed into an adjective in american urban sub culture as a descriptive for a large quantity.

Ice detected on wings can cause airplanes to loose lift and fall from the sky. This is why planes are sometimes de-iced prior to takeoff. If conditions are bad enough planes may not take off.

The challenge was to include “crazy eyes” I did the homonym thing and substitute “crazy ice” or in this case a large amount of ice on the wing, preventing the departure of air lingus. The irish reference.

I know how icing airplane wings is a bad thing, for lack of lift and freezing of control surfaces, it was the song reference I missed. Thanks, Aurelia.

Oh, this is part of a challenge? I didn’t even read the challenge because of who created it.

Oh, and thanks RYD =P I have been living under a rock here in Massachusetts so long that I had no clue about how young, inarticulate Americans use the word crazy. /sarcasm off

I liked your accents too. It’s a pain to write accents, and while I enjoyed writing my story too, I really felt the slog every time I thought “Hmmm, would this person drop this consonant? Do I have to write it that way?”
