I awoke peacefully, keeping my eyes closed.I lay on my stomach as I heard the birds chirping and the usual skateboarder passing by. I sighed enjoying the atmosphere. I wasn’t ready to open my eyes yet. I wanted to bask in this. Until I heard running in the dorm hall and squealing girls. I opened my eyes and saw my left hand. Seeing the ring, I said aloud “What in the worl-” The memories of the previous day rushed back. The perfect moment within the perfect day. Calmly I said quietly " oh yeah" Then it really hit me…“OH YEAH!” I jumped out of bed frantically swinging open my door and running after the girls to tell them of the previous day.
