I was going to do this one but there was SO MUCH! You did an excellent job.

I know, I had so many fragments I wanted to fit in. I just had to accept that the series of expository battles and Inigo’s quest are secondary to the main plot.

If I had a dime for every time I dropped a Princess Bride reference into some random conversation at work, I’d have at least $50. Usually they go un-noticed. The worst though is that it’s my favorite love story and my wife always falls asleep ;)

Couldn’t resist the classic could you. So much there, but this was a fair summation. Especially liked the opening line.

I loved the second line, and I’m in the same boat of responding to commands with “as you wish” but nobody gets ’em… (sigh)

I admit that I watched the movie at least 20 times before I realized what he was saying as he rolled down the mountain and why it was that particular moment that Buttercup realizes who he is.

absolutely amazing movie. the “as you wish” is the best part, where she finds out who he is. so cute. this is awesome

I watched this tonight. My wife still thinks it’s too cheesy, but my son is old enough now, and I dressed him up in a blanket and hefted him onto my back for the holocaust cloak scene. I think he’s hooked now.
