Well, based on the hope that the flute is going to bring the boy back to life (an assumption on our part), voila the Jesus connection, though a loose one. Nicely and crisply described scene.
To nitpick, the emphasis on a single note coming out felt odd when it was followed by more notes. I mean, it’s not like a flute can ever produce more than one note at a time.

But it does… it’s supposed to start somewhat normal then blow your MIND.

Well, I like that the piper’s song , though beautiful inspired fear in the mother. Beauty is supposed to be an awesome and terrible thing, and power should be feared. I wasn’t thinking jesus though…I was going the other way, like I usually do;)
