aww that’s cute and funny, and if the boy is under 8 then he wouldn’t get in too much trouble for calling 911 without an emergency.

Funny, though I can’t help but think it’s a trifle unrealistic—once the 911 operator realizes there’s no emergency, he should get the kid off the line as fast as possible so he can take the next emergency call.

This would have to be 9-1-1 in a really, really small rural area or something for a dispatcher to take the time to work with a child on “take-aways.”
The notion is sweet but not at all realistic.
