You can write whatever the fuck you want. There’s not publishers to impress, just virtual personalities to abstractly interact with. A vocal minority of people in this community have been premature to judge these stories based on some idea of what good writing ought to sound like. Unfortunately that notion wrongly equates good writing to writing like a conceited prick. Again, that’s not good writing: it’s writing like a conceited prick. But if that’s your thing, that’s your thing. You write about elfs, masturbation, shitty poetry, maybe even some good stuff I can’t just categorize as easily as elfs, masturbation, and scat poetry (combine all three with some Batman and Robin for a good 45 minutes).
