Interesting story idea, but I think this demonstrates the sometimes cheesy or frustrating reality that disaster movies tend to focus on one group or individual. Otherwise it all just feels conceptual, like someone thinking through scenarios without following any particular one through. All very nicely written and obviously well thought out. Just hard to latch onto.
I’m rooting for everyone mentioned in the story so far to somehow meet up.
Then again, that’d kind of ruin the real element…
I like the storyline so far, though I agree with THX on one point: because it’s from such an immensely wide variety of viewpoints, it’s very interesting to read, but hard to get emotionally attached to, despite the nuclear blasts and the seriousness of the situation.
All in all, great stories. Four and a half pencils, rounded up, for the series thus far.
