I agree with EM that it seemed like a little foreshadowing. but waiting on sequel.

Camille could be a zombie, then she could be literally dead tired. Heh.

But that’s not the case.

I want someone else to sequel this. Make it a community effort.

That’s right, I couldn’t muster the creative energies to write a sequel, so I gave you a little bit of extremely uncreative commenting. I’m just not much of a serfer, you know?

you fleshed out Camille’s parents to be the relaxed-in-their-own-fake-security-blankets type of people that it will be easy to kidnap from, well done. And you gave Lura a sensitive side, is she growing weak in her old age?
As far as sequels go, I think the abduction comes next ;)
