Old bio boring. New bio commencing:
At some point, I figured out I like to read. First books of importance: The Chronicles of Prydain by Lloyd Alexander in the 5th grade. I specifically asked to stay inside during recess to read them. Next came the Shannara series by Terry Brooks. Of those, The Elfstones of Shannara and The Druid of Shannara are my favorite.
Later, I discovered I have an intense love for science fiction and Orson Scott Card, which culminates in Ender’s Game. I own several copies and I’ve read it at least a dozen times. Starship Troopers by Robert Heinlein and Foundation by Isaac Asimov were also inspiring. Dune by Frank Herbert occupies a place in my mind second only to Ender’s Game. Probably my favorite books begin with Ender’s Game, Dune, Starship Troopers, and the Shannara series, in that order.
I write primarily in science fiction and high fantasy.

  1. Plugged Out

My body has not moved for millennia. My eyes stare blankly forward. Half of me is frozen. The other burns intensely. My fingers periodically twitch. Nothing comes of it. I see things no one else does. I miss things everyone else doesn’t. Sound pu...

  2. Fuck the Moon

Fresh off the shuttle, Steve bounded across the Moon in his bulky EVA suit. He whooped loudly and almost crashed into another group of suited people. “Hey, welcome to the Moon!” one man said, “What a trip, huh? Glad you could make it....

  3. Free Lunch

  4. Catapult Drive

Now, Catapult Drive is different all together. There’s no complicated multi-dimensional physics involved. In fact, most children have a good grasp on the principles. Catapult Drive is the mainstay of inter-planetary travel within a star system. T...

  5. Shadow Warp

Shadow Warp. Casual viewers dubbed it because of the way the starship dims and then blackens, turning so black it’s silhouette is visible against the black, starry space. Then it just fades away. It is the diametric opposite of the previous Faste...

  6. Book's Cover

“You’ve been here six times,” Marie grinned behind the small book store counter, “and you still haven’t bought a book.” “I like the smell,” CES Marley countered, taking a deep breath for emphasis, “...

  7. Across Time and Worlds

“Hello, my name is Victory, and I speak to you across time and worlds. You and I have never met face to face. We have shared planets, though never concurrently, and I have come to know you from the things you left behind. “You are an exceed...
