This is fine! I meant that if you had a non-story/questions/discussions to post them in the comment section to get us to start talking to each other.

I like the idea, but the execution could use some work. I know that you’re trying to establish a setting more than write a story, though. Still, the line “Sky was full of wrecks just lying there” doesn’t work for me.

I sequel-ed your story, sorry it took so long. However, I have had some trouble with some of stories where they can’t be read. On top of that I actually made a minor mistake with Firus, I hadn’t seen the character portrait on the challenge page until after I posted it so that was my fault. Unfortunately I can’t edit the story because I can’t get to it. I’ll let you know when it is fixed AND edited, unless you don’t mind Firus and his ship being conscripted into His Majesty’s Navy…?

Yep, I saw the notification. I would have posted a comment there as well, but I can’t get to it either.

I don’t really mind conscription (although I suspect Firus would feel somewhat the opposite). It doesn’t sound particularly outlandish.
