I learned on Ficly some time ago if you start writing using contractions, which are warm and personal, stick with them. When you’ve a couple that aren’t, it stumbles a little. Also, it’s not a solid rule, one can refer to themselves in a warm tone and someone else in a cold tone: “One day I’ll stand up to my boss and he will be sorry.”
