Mars is said to be where men come from; Venus, where women come from.
I don’t know where the others are supposed to come from. People refer to men and women all the time, but nobody will say where I was born or why.
Nobody can hear me. Nobody sees me. I wish to call to others, but nobody will pick up the receiver. Nobody can see me waving. I don’t think I have arms to wave.
I have secretly always believed that both men and women come from the same place, and I’m from elsewhere, but now we’re all stranded on this friendless sphere, Earth.

    Well, ‘tis pretty bleak. Beyond that, I’m not entirely sure what to make of it: I’d have preferred more of a narrative, but that’s just my inclination. An interesting read nonetheless.
