I like the ways he tests the reality, growing more bold with each detail. Kind of a scary reaction at the end there.

Again, I like the straightforward style that allows one to concentrate, without distraction, on the story. And what a fabulous story it is, in the very literal sense. It’s about as allegorical as it gets; something quite Wildean about it in fact.

Maybe it’s the pen, not the writer, that’s magical. I imagine the pen, like a granted wish, will run out at some point, so it must be wielded with utmost self control.

I love it! I read the prequel. This is a fun concept.
