Very dark. It takes a while to sink in, but in the end the effect is really twisted—what this guy is really doing vs how he sees it. Still unsure about the first sentence, and I think you mean in the end he’s happy to be upwind.

There should be a semi-colon rather than a comma in the last sentence!
