This challenge is inspired by Cocinella’s comment on LaraLustre ’s ficly * http://ficly.com/stories/7907 *. Being a shoe fetishist myself I am in total agreement that there should be a shoe poem challenge.

Write a poem about an event that caused the protagonist to buy or sell or wear (or for that matter otherwise manipulate) a pair of shoes – or even just one shoe.

The poem does not have to rhyme but if somebody manages to write a proper villanelle that would be awesome.
