Dear Susan (4)
That’s why I started writing this song for you. You know I like music. I wanted you to hear it, to go out with me. I wanted you not to leave me.
So I tried calling you by twentieth time. To my surprise, you answered.
“Tom?” you cried. “Tom, please forget me. I won’t bother you anymore, I swear”.
“Why would you…? What do you mean?”
“You know I love you, Tom, but I’ll never come back. Take care”.
“No” I murmured.
“Bye”
“No, Susan, hang on, I’m going”.
I left everything I was doing and ran way to your house. I hit several times your door, but no one opened, so I eneterd without any permission. I couln’t hear anysound. I went upstairs clumsily, imagining the worst.
Your bedroom door was locked. I don’t know where did my strength came, maybe because of frustration, but I could open it finally. You weren’t there. I couldn’t hear you, but something told me you were near.
With panic in my veinds, I opened the door that took me to your tiny bathroom.
There was no expression on your face. No beating in your heart.
