Cute ending, and I like the message. The beginning sounds really familiar.

Wonderful. I sometimes struggle with little aphorisms in greeting cards or motivational posters, to a point where I’m averse to them.
But this took me by surprise and made me smile, the poem before the ending made it work for me. Beautiful

I struggles to read it with some sort of meter or to catch onto a rhyme, and wish there was one. Apart from that I think the concept – the wordplay – is beautiful.

It’s a wonderful feeling to know that not all ficlies get buried forever, like this one coming back and getting the recognition it deserves. Congrats on being featured.
