A Father’s Sacrifice, A Son’s Future.. Part 1

Screams echoed through the small fishing village! An orc raiding party poured into the village, the ground trembling with their approach. Beldrune Starblade swung his ancient blade down off its hooks over the fireplace and struggled into his armor once again. “I’m getting to old for this..,” he muttered as his wife Sharee handed him his shield. “Be safe my husband,” she murmured softly while stroking the bit of grey that was creeping into his hair. “I love you too dear,” her husband said cheerfully as he strode out the door. It was the last time Sharee Starblade saw her husband alive.

Beldrune stormed out into the village center and found to his dismay the raiding orcs were pillaging and burning the village. Roaring he charged at a trio of orcs as they advanced on a mother and her two small children. The orcs spun around to face the new threat.
