Just my way of dealing with an 18 year old girl who is losing her battle.

I don’t know if she should wear it, or burn it in effigy! banish the cancer! Hideous shirt, be gone and take thine heinous disease with you!
teal and yellow aren’t so bad.. unless it’s a more mustardy, yellow orange… more opposite, and garish. :P

@Elsha- I guess that color combo is for lymphoma. So many cancers that the kinder colors were taken. Fitting, because this cancer is quite unkind.

Children’s rhymes are always so powerful because they cut right to the heart of the matter. No use finding nice ways to describe something that’s truely horrific, just put it down in black and white. That’s the tragedy of them, as they get so romanticised, when they’re just a cry of pain and anger in the dark.

Just wanted to bring this to a close and mention that Monica passed away last night (1/ 17/ 2011). She said she wanted to go home.
