Punch It!

“We can’t hold out much longer Cap’n!” cried the helmsman as another laser burst against the shields.
The Captain nodded grimly. “Prepare to jump. We’re falling back.”
The helmsman punched in the commands on his console.

Deep in the bowels of the ship, the anti-matter reactor went into overdrive, diverting power to where it was needed. At the ship’s prow, powerful graviton emitters cast their mysterious energies into space, collapsing the waveform, creating hundreds of thousands of micro-black holes. They collapsed almost instantly, the Hawking radiation tearing a whole between dimensions.

The engines surged, shunting the huge ship towards the rift.
“Ready to jump Cap’n!”
“Punch it.”

As the ship entered the rift, known physics collapsed, and with a flicker of pseudo-motion, they were gone.
