Diabolic (Superhero Black Hole, part 116)
My mind was racing and spinning in my skull as I tried to digest just how diabolical Letrodacta really was.
I had always known that that oddly named woman was the queen bitch of the universe – always out to get me, punish me, imprison me, toy with me, but never privvy to actually killing me…or at least, not directly. (Remember when she pushed me in front of that 4×4?)
But now I knew just how bad – nay, actually purely and unquestionably evil – she really was.
“And my Future self found out this happened?,” I asked Al.
“Correct. He was devastated. He attempted again and again to go back and prevent the bombings, but Letrodacta always managed to stop him, and eventually he couldn’t take repeatedly seeing the deaths of his loved ones happen despite his efforts to stop it.”
And then, out of nowhere, Al expressed something we hadn’t expected of him:
his own opinion.
“It is my belief that this experience considerably altered him. The You that I know is different somehow from the You I see here today.”
