After many years of training and preparation, the Lendrii were prepared for battle. Accompanied by the Sh’al, they marched on their homeland. Upon arrival, they were welcomed and aided by many of the persecuted peasants, who took up arms to fight beside the Lendrii. Together, the mages and townspeople staged an attack on the Kirva.

This is known as The Reclamation.

After a fierce battle, the Lendrii managed to uproot the Kirva and force their surrender. After some debate, Durien convinced the Lendrii to execute Choryl, as a warning to the Kirva, and to prevent him from amassing another army. Thousands of citizens showed up to watch their hated aggressor fall. As the executioner ended Choryl’s life, his pendant (which held The Healer’s life force) exploded. Afterward, not a single piece of the charm could be found, but a large burn was made on Choryl’s chest, in the shape of an eye.

The meaning of this omen has been debated ever since.
