Funny take on the sidekick scenario with a slightly darker feel to it despite the silliness. I liked the gender twist on the Batman/Robin dynamic as well, just a little something to make it your own.

I was confused. And then worried. And then amazed!

Particularly the very last part says more about the human condition than it does just about the side-kick character, and I think that was clever – because the side-kick always is the more human of a crime-fighting duo, and so why shouldn’t they be susceptible to human weakness?
