This has some amazing imagery. Sounds like a beast taking down hunters. I think the hidden story is a pitcher on the mound taking down each player? That is my best guess.

I hadn’t thought about the baseball analogy, a good one though. My intent was a metaphorical comparison of a “pool shark” and a real “shark”. I am happy you saw more in it than me.
