A little disjointed at times, but I like the biblical names as cues to themes in the modern setting. Being a dad isn’t always easy, and I think this captures some of the ways in which it often isn’t.

I am swept up in the ending, seeing parents that just stop being parents and let the kids rule the roost… It’s an epidemic.

Brilliant work there. Great allusions to Abel’s vegetable aspect, and to Cain’s as well. I think religions generate their own archetypes that reverberate in the consciousness. That’s why these kinds of stories are so much fun.
