Very amusing take on “special needs”. I like the optimism of it though. Kind of a tragic portrait of the guy running the place, but maybe there is hope for him yet.

I loved this. The young girl is so sweet and benign that I just want to give her a hug. Nicely done!

Kids have a unique way of making grownups look at the world differently.

Very nicely written. I love the counterpoint of her unprompted optimism against the grim (and unshaven) resignation of the grizzled old guy. And the little chink in his armour at the end: Well that was new.
