Compelling imagery of autumn and the anticipation of winter. I’m more a fan of structured verse, but this is still a pleasure to read.

I know this is likely a piece about a coming winter, but for some reason it felt more apocalyptic to me.

Nice piece – ‘flora’ is a word I’ll never get tired of.

I just read this along with the Sequel. Together they are even richer than each one that stands so beautifully on its own.
