Heartfelt poem, Marli. The structure is solid. I like the tree and leaf as a symbol of transference, like she is closest when you hold the leaf and remember her so vividly, you can access her through these symbols. Lovely, and touching.

I’m not good with poetry, but this one is touching and has just that bit of quiet remembrance.
