Sorry, sorry. I had to. Anyway, this is pretty good. It doesn’t really need a set plot or anything and it sets a mood.

That’s part of the problem with it, though- it sets a mood. It seems like an intro that never leads to anything.

Still, very pleasant read. Brings to mind a number of themes and possibilities.

Specifically, it reminds me of the Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead episodes of Doctor Who.

I was just about to say that. This is similar to what the Doctor says in Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead. Very well written well done.

I have to agree with Silven here. I did like this. However, as I was reading, I found myself wanting to write a prequel/sequel for it. Unfortunately, as Silven said, it doesn’t seem to lead anywhere or suggest something has preceded it. I’m drawing a blank for anything to add. Still, it is well written.

I really liked this one. Alas, I haven’t seen enough Doctor Who to get the reference that some have mentioned (-100 geek points for me).

Regardless, a very good read. Thank you for writing it.

Being afraid of the dark myself, I really connected with this piece. It’s nice as a stand alone ficly but it really does seem to be crying out for a sequel.
