This challenge has ended!
I just dusted off a draft that’s been sitting on my desk for months now and put the final spit-polish on it. It’s a nice feeling. I have a bad habit of starting stories — and then forgetting about them for months. I rather suspect I’m not alone in that.
The challenge here is simple. Dig into your drafts folder, find a story you began (and forgot about), and finish it. Breathe new life into that world. You’ll be glad you did.
Thanks to everyone who participated!
had an old red riding hood draft just sitting there. bit more bikerish now with a little (even if foreshadowed) twist
From the look of it, it’s pretty drafty.
Yeah, I love when I do things like that. A lot of my drafts end up just sitting until A) I remember where I was going with that idea, or B) I figured something else to do with it, instead.
i have a draft that appears to be nothing but the word ’Saṃsāra ’ copy and pasted over and over again with different numbers in each line, I forgot what I was doing.
Want to join in the fun? Of course you do!
