Gabe, I know you think you’ve lost excitement here, but I think you’re showing real maturity and skill at being able to change the pace of your series so deftly – it doesn’t feel awkward or out of place, it’s an interesting continuation.

Actually, I feel like with the previous story you resolved the ‘shall I, shan’t I’ storyline, and with this you’re starting the ‘dealing with the decision’ storyline – good work – MH :)

I agree with THX, it’s a good pregnant pause lol I never got that phrase but it applies in a way.
This was a good sequel :)
