This is ever so loosely based on ‘Ordinary Dream’ by Electric Light Orchestra. It’s a lovely song and worth a listen, probably on Youtube or something like that.

Clever, I wondered what might have inspired it. Nice rhythm to this piece, although some of the sentences near the end are a bit comma-heavy… Liked the opening paragraph especially!
