Hmmm. A little twisted Dr Seuss at the beginning. I would have stayed in that vein, but this is quite intriguing.

Woah, creepy. Ending definitely startled me. I agree with Stargazer, I liked the rhyming at the beginning.

This is great because we all wanna be loved and is that so wrong? Even killers want love in spite of the fact that they kill, or maybe because of it…Red Dragon anyone? Great poem!

There was so much steam built up heading into the end of this and then… well, this is an old poem and it’s all been commented before. I will say that the vast majority of this is great and, if inspiration strikes again, it would be further elevated by a second pass. Well done, might just have to break out some poetry myself sometime soon.
