Perfection!
This challenge has ended!
Absolute perfection! The ability to do no wrong and get everything right the first time. A goal for some, a way of life for others. A hindrance to all.
I want to see you write a story dealing with perfection. Maybe it’s about the pitfalls of attempting to be perfect. Maybe it’s about what the world would be like if a perfect utopian civilization was achieved. Maybe it’s about our daily struggles as a flawed race of beings. It’s up to you! Just make sure that somehow, in some way, perfection (or the lack thereof) is the dominant theme.
Two weeks sound good? Excellent.
And so I leave you with this:

This was a TOUGH one! There were definitely some excellent entries in this challenge.
Gradual Uprising deserves a nod for taking the concept to a unique conclusion with his entry.
Mostly Harmless also deserves props for a wonderfully humorous story.
But those two are runners-up. Kant’s Platypus delivered a haunting and deep entry that had weight to it, along with a very interesting narrator.
Great work, everyone! :)
Want to join in the fun? Of course you do!
