good work. Reminds me of when I wrote two stories and a poem on the scrap paper in a maths test and another on my hand in a science exam. Wouldn’t have got through it otherwise.
Really good work with lots of character developement. Very interesting view. Abby x
Awesome. I love winding narratives like this. It’s an exact replica of my brain!!! Even though I have no idea what C in SATs means. Here SATs are pointless and no longer exist!
This is great. Even though it’s been longer than I’ll admit to since I have had to take an exam, I completely fell into the moment and related to everything you wrote.
I enjoyed the muddled train-of-thought feeling you have here. It is a bit confusing, but in a purposeful way that isn’t necessarily “hard-to-follow” confusing, if that makes sense.
In the third paragraph you have “[o]r right, NYU,” when I think you meant “[o]h right, NYU.”
I can’t really relate to this as I’ve never taken the SAT, nor have I ever freaked out during a test (I was great at tests, but never did any homework). However, I’ve seen enough episodes of the Simpsons to completely understand where you’re coming from and enjoy the humor.
Hopefully it wasn’t a true/false test or all of those “C’s” will be marked as incorrect by default.
I cringed when I saw this title. I’m taking mine Saturday. My experience will probably involve a lot more hyperventilating/bitting my nails/passing out scenes than yours but nevertheless these things will be going through my mind as well. (I always pick C when I don’t know the answer).
Hated exams. Always in the top few. Always predictable. Until finals and then decided to flunk because my parents were sending me to boarding school as our town did not have a high school.
Thanks for reminding me that I have to go through this in May. :( Haha.
This kind of reminded me of a ‘stream of consciousness’ activity I did in my Psychology class, in which I was required to write down every single thought I had for a certain amount of time.
